Painting Courses

Using only Annie Sloan paints and waxes Tracey Harrison’s painting workshops show people how to achive that authentic French country look.

The courses are held throughout the year at Avant Garde and have become increasingly popular. Places are limited to a maximum of 6 and they do sell quickly; it is always worth booking ahead if you would like to do one of the courses.

As well as the shop-based workshops Tracey also runs painting parties, which are for 4-6 people, which can be held in anyone’s home.

In an age when everyone is being encouraged to recycle and re-use, these courses show just how to revive old furniture and how to distress and age furniture to achieve that stylishly un-designed designer look — injecting a touch of the chic into the shabby.
